ALMOST FOR THE OTHERS
It’s all about pace, play and power. Welcome to a classic Norman piece of techno on FEINWERK #32 accompanied by his Kassel mate Niko Newman. Like an opening fire the three new tracks commence at a fair blaze. But just a couple of beats later, the acoustic bonfire shows its full force: strong bass lines and rough percussions at high speed.
It’s this mixture of playfulness and roughness, which characterizes both artists and, which once again creates a fantastic piece of vintage techno sound. Whether it’s percussions, drums, or crackle noises, everything is twisted and melting into each other without loosing pace, but concluding into three driving techno pieces “Countermanded” (together with Niko Newman), “Es klappert der Klapp”, and “Green Applet” – by the way, none of them something we would dare to countermand.

NORMAN
He’s breaking off the barriers and smashes through. The Stammheim kid is still standing tight on his rough 90s techno roots and keeps the freak in his fingers. So nobody is surprised anymore if he’s squeezing in some hip hop scratches or Elvis parades between bombing bass lines and explosive techno beats. It’s all about the right drive on the dance floor. So is his mantra “if you’re stuck, you suck!”
Since 2002, he has been releasing some smashing tracks on labels such as HoerSpielMusik, Broque, Feinwerk, Snork Enterprises, Relax2000, Punkt vor Strich, and many more. Consequently, his own label RAUSCHWAREN was to come – the tracks of which immediately became a constant part of the legendary e-electribe parties, a club project in his hometown Kassel, of which he has been an indispensable member since 2009.

NIKO NEWMAN
Another offspring of the roaring techno scene of Kassel! Since 2001, Niko Newman has dedicated himself to electronic music. It’s his passion and his playground. He loves to experiment and put the whole spectrum of sounds to the test being inspired especially by labels like Drumcode, M_nus, and Tresor. Already, he himself left remarkable footsteps as one of the main actors of the successful event project “Club e-lectribe”, established 2008 in Kassel. With his activities as promoter, resident DJ and booker, he significantly shaped the sound of the event series and spread his sound throughout Kassel and beyond.

FEINWERK
FEINWERK is the hardcore porno everybody hides deep down in his closet. Not everybody has the guts to confess to it, but everybody owns the desire for it. It’s the urge to resent all conventions and solely listen to what your body is longing for - pure hard underground real shit fucking music!
Reminding the techno scene of the mind blowing beats of unique electronic sounds, such as the Brighton techno, FEINWERK is coming back with its new badass interpretation of experimental underground techno with a mixture of industrial and minimal influences involving an apocalyptic touch.
