Welcome to the wonderful and weird. “D.O. 14 The Majettico” is an amazing compilation of funky house tunes with a very unique touch of craziness. With each track, you enter an entirely new sound spectrum that never ceases to amaze. So clearly, it was time to give this wacky sound some space and put it into an album. Hello Feinwerk#30 “D.O. 14 The Majetto” by Spandex.
Mumbling. Stuttering. Distortion. Burling. Spandex is a master of transforming strange noises into highly energetic house tunes with a great amount of funky flavor. And that’s exactly what he does here. So open up and let yourself be surprised by each of seven fulminant tracks. It’s a sound that wakes up your mind and shows you what’s possible in terms of combination and creation.
Speaking of creation, Spandex always has some very special assistance when it comes to the naming of his releases. As many times before, also “D.O. 14 The Majettico” was an imaginary title invented by his little daughter.

He loves the crazy and the weird and that’s why we love his music. It’s a full load of enthusiastic techno sounds artistically, ironically stringed together. The UK label Hand on the Plow once very strikingly referred to him as “Spandex has a knack of turning lazy mumbling into the funkiest dance floor tracks out there. (…) Spandex can also manage to squeeze so much slutty funk into a track like “Too Tight” that it is at risk of overflowing at times.”
So searching of some exceptional house music, Spandex is the guy – also as a live act. “You should definitely try and book me cos it'll be a really fucking good party. I totally rocked Berghain one time. Mind you, on their sound system I reckon you could rock the place with 90 minutes of sine waves around 20Hz. Also, I wear a cape and swish it around like some kind of twat. It's completely unfeasible. If you pay me enough money, I'll buy and wear a green, spandex all-in-one body suit. I've got a bit of a belly. It'll be fucking horrid/brilliant.” – No further questions.

Founded in 2004 by techno DJ and producer Christian Schachta, known as Syntax Error, Snork Enterprises is a base for modern underground electronic techno music. It's not at all about being pretentious or arty for the sake of it. It's about real depth on the dance floor. Short and sweet: very snorky! It's a journey with friends such as Cristian Vogel, Phil Kieran, Jens Zimmerman, Daze Maxim, DJ W!ld and other big names from the techno scene having dedicated themselves to an uncompromising, stunning beat to go even further on a trip to the instantly exceptional, experimental sounds, ranging back to various roots of electronic underground.
