Get your acid smile on! Space Hysteria is a crazy trip back to the roots of 90s acid core with some detours to techno, electro, EBM and industrial. And the Belgian producer Ethan Fawkes has done nothing less than filling the new FEINWERK 27 up to the top with those forceful sounds.
This spacecraft clearly is heading for hysteria. Acid sounds are going up and down. Powerful machine drums boost you through the spheres from “Hypno Road” to “Smokescreen” and finally to “Space Hysteria”. It’s truly a dark space. Drawn-Out screechy noises are screaming, taking your eardrums to the limit. You are caught in an odyssey. What will happen next? The tension is harsh and the sound is thunderous!

Ethan Fawkes
As a 90s kid, Ethan Fawkes loved grunge and metal bands such as Faith No More, Nirvana, or Sepultura. Later, he got into acid core and switched his bass and electric guitar to hardware. You can clearly tell that those inspirations still have a major impact on his today’s style, which has evolved as an interaction of techno, electro, acid, EBM and industrial.
Over the years, the Belgian producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has grown an extensive catalogue of original content, starting from “Don’t Decide For Me” for the compilation “Till Dawn Do Us Part 09” on Dead By Dawn Records in 2009 to recent releases on I-Traxx Red Edition, Dancefloor Killers, Kobayashi Recordings, Electric Pressure, Fresh Cut, and Morforecs. As a remixer, Ethan Fawkes is approved by international as well as emerging artists such as Subliminal Noize, The Horrorist, Chemical Sweet Kid, and Angeldust. And, as a live act and DJ, whether it’s a rave, a club or a festival, he is always “combat-ready”.

FEINWERK
FEINWERK is the hardcore porno everybody hides deep down in his closet. Not everybody has the guts to confess to it, but everybody owns the desire for it. It’s the urge to resent all conventions and solely listen to what your body is longing for - pure hard underground real shit fucking music!
Reminding the techno scene of the mind blowing beats of unique electronic sounds, such as the Brighton techno, FEINWERK is coming back with its new badass interpretation of experimental underground techno with a mixture of industrial and minimal influences involving an apocalyptic touch.
